Vinterra started on its way with a capital of USD 2,600,000, which has been invested in vineyards, land and wineries according to its development strategy.

Achievements
We would like to list some outstanding results that we have achieved since September 1998, a relatively short period of time:

At present we own two wineries several vineyards and land to develop new vineyards. The properties mentioned are situated in the two wine regions of major interest and well known for the wines produced there: Dealu Mare and Vanju Mare-Orevita.

Dealu Mare - vineyard - our winery is situated in Breaza-Sahateni and has a production and storage capacity of 1.100.000 liters. In this region we purchased abt 25 hectares of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Vanju Mare-Orevita - vineyard - our winery is situated in Orevita and has a storage capacity of 500,000 liters. It is a relatively small winery which will be enlarged and modernized. Here we already own abt 200 hectares of which 100 ha of vineyard.In future this winery will produce premium quality wines as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir,Feteasca Neagra,Syrah,Sauvignon Blanc.

Future strategy
Production - our company will continue to enlarge its production activities, such as: land purchasing - with or without planted vines, planting the most demanded grape varieties on foreign markets. Besides our own production grapes, our company will purchase grapes from the independent growers up to 500 tones per year. We will continue to modernize our two wineries and to purchase new agricultural machines, according to this enlargement process.
